Rosa - I made your Autumn-Fruit-Chutney last evening and both hubby and I love it. Since it is sweeter than the one I always make he said it could be used in place of jam, and promptly put some on rye-crips!

I must confess that I only made up a half a batch to try it out first but it will be a full batch in future. I filled 3 jars, the regular 450/500g size jam/honey jars, to the very top and then had a bit left over. This is what hubby ate, I only got a smidge. You must use smaller jars as you said at least 11 jars will be needed. Do you also find it difficult getting enough jars? I give a lot of stuff away and people promise to give the jars back but then don't do so. I think that I must start taking a deposit on them.

Yes the 11 jars are the smaller ones, I tried every where and just could not buy the jars but luckily enough i had saved a load of jars. I had loads of large coffee jars ended up giving them to my friend for beetroot so just waiting to get a jar off her, yummy yummy
