I'm not familiar with imageshack, I'm afraid, so no help there!

As for the file size - yes, it is most definitely the resolution. Your camera (well, any camera) have a choice of maybe three resolutions, high, medium and low - or sometimes called superfine, fine and normal. Any picture of a particular size will have a large, medium or small file size according to the resolution it was taken at. That's why you need to check dimensions, pixel size and file size!

[IMG] Great to see all the pics and avatars :D

May I just mention one small thing (for those who do not already know) - if you post a pic onto GC from photobucket and then delete it from photobucket it will also disappear from GC!

Problem Jjordie - what do you do when photobucket advises that your "bucket" is full?

I dont know for sure but I assume you either delete some of the ones you dont need, or you have to start paying.

    From PB FAQs:
Q: How much disk space and bandwidth do I get?
A: Currently, Free accounts get 50 MB of space.

I currently have 172 photos (including smilies) and am using only 9.12 Mb of that space. If you have more than these, maybe you could delete some or transfer them onto a disc.

Good gracious - I haven't got that many pictures, I don't think. Most are under 100K - so can not think I have filled up my allowance. Just got an e-mail saying my album was getting full.

Thanks for the info - I'll go take a look at what is going on.
