Avatars !!

HELP! :eek: :( :confused:
I managed to get an avatar from avatarity.com onto my profile. Then I tried to alter it to one of my own, failed, and lost the other one in the process. Now I have this message which says Free Avatars and I can't get it off, or replace it. I have an ancient iMac running OS 9 and IE 5 [old software] and can't find avatar instructions anywhere ....Please can anyone help?
I used Village Photos to get URL.

I triedand fpund 15 trojen virus in there and had big problems

 

Not certain how that would be as all your doing is uploading pictures that can be accessed from this site through a link. I presume you have virus protection as I have - I have had no virus's, nor warnings from any picture links I have seen.

So please provide the detail of how you experienced 15 trojan virus's.

 

hello - I've been trying to get myself an avatar....... got a photobucket thingy..... still can't load one across from elsewhere, so have given up nearly an hour later.... maybe try in the week..... :rolleyes:

 

Hi Honey bee, If you choose an avitar, download it and uplink it to photobucket. Next go. my profile, edit profile, avatar, use the top option to paste into your New avatar option, use custom url, you should see the avatar in 'avatar image' save page. you should then have your avatar with post. Having two browser windows open helps.

As an addendum Honey bee - you can chose a photo of your own, resize it to under 100 pixels, upload it to photo bucket and follow Han's instructions.
