'Back to Top' Button

I use the HOME and END buttons without CTRL , seems to work OK.
Also PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN is handy.

 

Home and end keys do absolutely nothing on my key board, with or without Ctrl.
Might be something to do with my settings but quite a lot of the key board seems pointless.

 

May well be the keyboard driver then. I'm just sorry I can't be more help

 

Not if you're using the alternative clouds skin Harry.

If anyone's using a lap top then just flip the scroll bar on the finger pad, that's quicker.

 

I,m using a lap top, dont think I've got one of those.

 

Here you are @pete, I've taken this off the web. To the right (D) is the line for the scroll bar I just touch and flip this and the page scrolls quickly. I have an older machine so perhaps the function has been changed on newer ones.

 

Thanks for looking up that for me @Sheal , but I dont use that bit, I found it too fiddly.
So I got a mouse.

 

Tut! Now you tell me you're using a mouse! What I explained above won't work with that @pete.

 

I just found the back to top tab. The word "top" is written in very small letters on a very dark background. It's almost indistinguishable. (That's a word and a half ) I was going to ask whether there was one and then this thread popped up.

Just bumping this up, but dont want to be a pain, although I do know that I am, before anyone answers that.

But is it not possible to make the TOP button a bit more user friendly.
It is hidden away down there, hardly noticeable.

I get a big arrow appear when I start to scroll up on my phone.
Is it possible that something like that could appear when using my laptop?

 

I never knew it was there ... fantastic! But it is difficult to see.

 

Its difficult to see, and unless you go down to the last page you cant use it.

With my phone as soon as you start to scroll upwards an arrow appears which you touch and it takes you directly to the top.

 

I can't find it at all on my tablet.

You need to scroll past the last message and its far right, just above privacy policy.
