    Hi B/M. Can you tell me what fern that is in the 1:10 posting, just above the banana plant ?(the one growing in gravel) Also, how big does it get ? Cheers...freddy.

    Inspirational!!!

    I always think of you and your pics whenever I see an exotic/tropical plant in the gc. Am going to attempt to lift my small gravelled areas theis weekend to lay proper anti-weed membrane stuff (instead of the rubbishy plastic compost bags that are u showing through at the moment). Think I might go on the lookout for another couple of ferns to treat myself with once it's done. LOVE unfurling ferns!

    Hi Banana, you have a fantastic garden, It's really fantastic because you mixed plants that gown normally here in my zone and other plants perfect for your climate!

    that looks more like a garden centre than someones back garden!! Really nice plants!

    Can you please tell me the names of the plant with the white flower in post 14 and the 4th picture in post 15? (the one with the fronds)

    The white flower is a Skunk Cabbage and the other photo is a cowslip:)

    thanks Banana Man! I really like the Skunk Cabbage! The other plant I didnt mean the cowslip but the fern looking in the picture above it (the one with the fronds) what is it called? Thanks again :)

    I think its just a common Asplenium scolopendrium.:)
