    Pheonix rob been out for 2 weeks, kept it in greenhouse, otherwise leaves go too brown and they're slow to get nice new ones.

    :cool: I have a Washy Filibusta coming next week and a new type of trachy called 'manipur'. The washy is a an nice little hybrid to add to the collection. I do like deliveries that come on big lorries bearing pallets! :D

    I've been trying to get some Ricinus seeds, but they are VERY hard to come by.... tried e-bay, but got pipped at the post, again!!!! (how do they do that!!!!?????)

    Anyone know where I can get some/ got some going spare???

    A couple of these pics are front garden, well one side any [​IMG]way. [​IMG]These first 2 are front garden [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] In summer you can't see any soil, just lush colours of orange,red,yellow and white with callas, cannas lilys, gingers exc....

    You can't beat a good cordyline for the tropical look. :D Looks great. did you get lucky with them being in the garden already, the house looks younger then the plants ?

    Got my ricinus seeds from Thompson & morgan last Autumn, Jungleseeds.co.uk sell them too, their plant selection is fantastic too as well as their seed and tubers.

    I planted them about 10 yrs ago just before had second son. House was built 1952 was concrete but now bricked up 2005 then I bought it, it was council. I put french doors in 2000 just had to ask permission, also had fitted kitchen done 2001 again with permission, my bathrooms next everything else is done, I'm very modern/contemporary.

    I thought the brickwork looked new, that explains it. I have seen some new developments that have plonked in lovely cordys and I often wonder if they are appreciated?

    Everyone knows which house is mine just have to tell them the street no need to mention num, and theres 60 houses down here!! [​IMG] The builders thought my garden was great when they did the house, there's plenty down here you see that can't be bothered with any gardening!
