    Seedlings are pale, but not as pale as on photo.
    AND another thought - do you remember the young plant I had to look after for a friend (copy below) well it did cross my mind that it could be a Stralizia and not a Banana???

    My guess is its a banana Waco, but probably a different kind to yours. It appears to have a stem forming, the usual strelizia found over here doesn't form a stem, and the leaves are pretty tough.
    I wouldn't worry about the yellowy leaves of yours, its growing well.

    I got my first Ensete peeping through this morning WACO - jumping for joy!

    Fingers crossed and I may get a few more, the germinated seed was of medium size and was one of the seeds that I filed.
