    dendy - I got same problem

    back to hostas though, I have problems with those wild ginger things I forgoten names of ?asarum or something like that, anyway xxxx$x slugs have already got the poor things, so all hints welcome.

    Got loads done today in the garden...

    Checked the gunneras and all are going well. I covered them before the snow and they seem well. The enormous mother gunnera, which actually looks small in this photo, is nice and healthy too.

    It's looking good! Love those blossoms and the Iris, the colour is fantastic.

    Love your photos, BM! It's a fantastic documentary. Look forward to seeing them all together.

    Particularly like the new Catalpa - hadn't been aware of the purply leaved one.

    Lovely photos as always - pity about the Petasites :(

    I was given the peta becasue I am known for my love of foliage. I never even considered it would flower. I will know next year, and I can make sure it doesn't get nibbled.

    wow bm your gardens GREAT i hope one day my &debs [the missis] garden looks this good one day .banana man can you suggest any other type of banana plant to grow cos i just love them.I want my garden full of them i love the jungle look thanks my friend..d&d

    Lovely pics BM! I love the iris but unfortunately we never have much luck with them, they bloom one year and then that is the end of them. Have the same bad luck with several other flowering plants. Soil not right, bugs, not enough care, I don't know, so I give up after a couple of years.
