    Sunny but very windy and 17C here...Just dry enough under foot to mow the estate.

    Sounds like you guys are in the Antarctic ... and there's still three days of August to go! Typical Bank Holiday weekend from what I can remember! :eek:

    I've just put the A/C on in the kitchen/diner as it's 34.4C at coming up to 4.30pm as the overhead fan is just pushing hot air around.

    Cool and wet here - I envy you. After the July heatwave, august has been a bit of a wash out. Even had to mow the lawn every week - roll on an indian summer please.

    Hello Fran you are very lucky to have any lawn left after the Summer. Mine are full of burnt patches and whether or not they will greeen all over remains to be seen!

    If its from drought, I'm sure it will. If from other causes, then mmmmmmm.

    Mine lawn was yellow and frizzled in places, even the weeds :D , but its now greening up and needs cutting yet again <sigh>
