Barbara Hepworth's Garden

Last week I visited Barbara Hepworth's sculpture garden in St Ives, Cornwall. It is the most wonderful place where her work is seen in the most complimentary garden. The garden and her sculpture work beautifully together. It is one of my favourite places on the planet. Here are some pictures.

Lovely! Thank you for posting these. It's many years since I've seen that garden and her studio, and it was very nice to see them again. I've always remember the garden quite clearly, also her overalls hanging up in the studio! Have you ever visited the Rodin Museum in Paris? That too has a lovely garden with some of his sculptures on display. Well worth a visit.

 

Yes, many years ago; too long. I can feel a trip to Paris calling.

 

Thank you very much for posting these lovely pictures. I've never been, but it looks like a beautiful synthesis of nature and human. Credit should also be given to beautifully taken photos too!
