One has gone down on my parents road but there arn't any further details atm so don't know if its near the house so my brother is going to have to look later

Luckily the rotten fence is done so that is now stable in the wind but the fence the other side that was put in in september has got quite a lot of movement going on

 

More glass in the GH gone 4 sheets.
Next doors fence panels gone and my exposed garden has taken a right battering.
New palms thrashed, acers snapped, all the daffs and tulips horizontal

 

It's officially gale force 10, the plastic garden chairs have gone over!

 

Sorry to hear that, Mowgley. Reports seem to differ about tomorrow, still going to be very windy here I think. Hope things can be rescued.

 

All the log burners with chainsaws will be out tonight and by tomorrow all this "free" firewood will be gone.

Oh joy! Irish Sea coasts are about to get a battering! I've been outside and tried to anchor anything down that needs it. The annuals are going to have to fend for themselves. I 'll bung my Maskotka tom basket in the shed. My begonia basket is sulking. I'm tempted to let the so and so's swing around in the wind!

 

Yes, it's underway here to Fern, it's nasty out there already and the temperature is down to 8C. The rain is supposed to stop late evening but the wind will be with us longer. I really feel sorry for all the bikers here for T.T. A lot of them camp and they'll be washed out tonight.

I've just heard the island has opened up all the community halls and churches for them to settle into until the weather improves.

 

It's not too bad here Sheal at the moment. It's supposed to be getting worse in the next few hours. Gusts are becoming a lot stronger though. Hopefully the weather will settle soon for you and the TT....what a pain!

Not bad here on the Eastern front apart from the cloud burst I've just been caught in,my blooming hair is ruined and my chooks aren't over chuffed about it either it's fairly breezy but it seems to be like that on and off most days lately
