I lost another fence and the trees took a bit of a stripping but it is clear and sunny now.
I really ought to replace all these fences with walls. I lose some every year. :gaah:

Can't see any real damage here despite 80mph winds through the night but a lot of disruption elsewhere.
My perfect leaved 'nanas are now shredded.!

Good time to plant a new mixed native hedge Lea.

Not much happened here overnight, bit blowy is all and some twigs on the lawn.

All over now. Never amounted to much here thankfully, well gusty 6-9 this morning and rained until about 30 minutes ago with some local surface flooding, but now sunny and blustery, surprisingly mild still.

Hope all got through it ok, though it seems to have got further north than expected.

It's quietened down a bit here now. No damage thankfully.
Just lots of apples to pick up and a few leaning sprouting broccoli that needed tying up.

It's good to hear everyone is okay and the damage is minimal. :) Sadly though a few have lost their lives.

Quiet as a mouse here now - wee bit of light cloud, but generally peaceful.

As far as I know they are - however, I am a mile or so along the road past the village of 'Caring' as I am on holiday for a week :)
