Not too bad here, so far: but, I think the worst is meant to hit between 2-6am? :dunno:

I've warned Ozzy his early morning walk may have to be postponed due to leaves on the lines.

There's been over 1,000 viewers watching the Dawlish Station webcam waiting for the storm to start and waves to break over the trains on the track at the top of the sea wall.

The wind's dying down here now, but according to WindGuru it will pick up to 20mph (40mph gusts) at 3:00 Monday morning (the forecasted wind speeds are reducing all the time). The South coast looks like it'll be worst hit with winds reaching 39mph (58 gusts) at Margate around same time.

Wish I could move the house in case that birch tree south west of my bedroom wall decides to go over.
Blustery here but nothing out of the ordinary as yet.

If the wind wants to remove the thieves conifers from my garden, it is more than welcome to - - as long as it doesn't park them in my greenhouse!

Its been a lovely autumn day here. We had a nice walk in Haigh Hall's grounds and its not really windy . I would so love it if there was no storm , mainly for the good folk on the southern English and Welsh coasts............but I would really like to see the weatherpersons faces tomorrow morning .. we got it wrong again !! :heehee:

I woke up to a beautiful day, and went for a very pleasant warm, sunny walk with just a gentle breeze on my face. As the afternoon has turned to evening, the wind has picked up and we have had a short shower but nothing excessive. I hope the Met office have been over cautious, not because I want to see egg on their face, I just don't want anyone for have their roof blown off :ouch1:

I dearly hope he is found ok but I'm annoyed that the parents let these kids out knowing what was coming weather wise, now others will risk their lives without a second thought to look for this child. My thoughts are with everyone involved in this situation.

Been looking for a drastic pressure drop on the barometer, but I'm sure it actually rose slightly when I tapped it a minute ago.
