I'm starting to think that this is a massive over-reaction by the Met Office, as it is so quiet here its almost surreal against the forecast. We even have a window open at the moment as its so warm in the house.

Erm..... I don't want to worry anybody, but I just had another look at that Windguru site.

The strongest gusts for tomorrow morning here are forecast to be about 50mph, slightly less than they were forecasting yesterday. However, I did notice that for next Sunday (3rd Nov) they are forecasting gusts of up to 58mph and stronger winds for a sustained period of several hours longer than they are currently forecasting for tomorrow.
        :hate-shocked:

I know forecasts for 7 days ahead are not always very accurate, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

Can't get any new info from the met office site, guessing its overloaded.

Currently light rain & calm in Somerset.

Looking at the Met site its not really a very deep depression, its just moving through at a very fast rate and bouncing off the High to the east, its due in Denmark by mid day tomorrow so if it dont hurry up it will miss the boat..
