:goodpost: BeeHappy. I've been giving a lot of thought as to whether I could create a wild flower garden out front. As mentioned before I'm keen to make the garden as wildlife friendly as possible and the front garden is a reasonable space. I really need either hedges or the wall built up as A/ the wind can be mighty fearsome at times and B/ there is no privacy from the happy campers passing by on their way to the caravan park. Also, a lot of work needed out front to make it into wild flower garden. Wish I could afford to pay someone to do it for me.

@luciusmaximus You wouldn't appreciate it so much if somebody else did it.

Ummm, what would I not appreciate . I clicked on link and arrow in the middle, it just seemed to be a honeycomb with bee friendly plant suggestions and some Bees at the bottom of the honeycomb. Is there something I'm not seeing?

Ahhh, I get it now :snorky:. Well, there is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from doing things yourself, but, also much satisfaction gained from relaxing and watching someone else do the job for you :lunapic 130165696578242 5:.

@BeeHappy Just finished reading this book:

A Sting in the Tale: Amazon.co.uk: Dave Goulson: 9780099575122: Books

Excellent somewhat academic book about Bumblebees. Have you read it? Now we are absolutely committed to plantings to encourage Bumblebees. What are your planting suggestions? The downside of the book was that it didn't have a list of plants to plant for these species. There were numerous suggestions throughout the text but all I can remember is Viper's Bugloss and Borage. A list at the end would have been so useful.
