I forgot to mention my Geraniums - how could I forget them :hate-shocked:. And the Verbena and the Eryngium. I bought some cheap pots £1.99 each or 3 for £5.00 to trial. The aforementioned 3 have all done very well. Also recently purchased two Heleniums, so hoping for joy with them next year :snorky:

One of the Bees discovered the Asters I planted three days ago this afternoon :). I have three plants, impulse buy again at £1.99 each. Too pretty to resist as I was strolling by :loll:

@martin-f All looking fab- Wildlife Haven Heaven :)
The plant is Verbena Bonariensis and as you say the Pollinators love it as do the Flutterbys- so easy to germinate too either from stem cuttings or spent seed heads on the top just when dry crumble them on top of a seed tray filled with gritty soil and lightly press into it and bingo you'll have new seedlings for next year -Try to be mindful of its ease of reproduction and keep on top of the deadheading thou as you may find self-seedlings have already germinated even without your help ;) BTW they look identical to the adult plant with that squarish stem and rough long leaf verbena-bonariensis-seedheads.jpg

Just overwinter them in a unheated frost-free spot once they have got a bit of growth on them - they should make quite good growth before the weather turns too cold -It's the wet that usually knocks them back so if you can keep them on the dryish side thru winter they should do well-
i have just planted some out that i germinated mid-summer and pricked out a few weeks ago there now alongside and in between my Bronze Fennel - i had quite a nice clump there but my chooks had decided it made for nice pickings and soon pruned it back ....the little divils :chicken: ...so
a higher trellis in front and planted up when they were in bed ..as anyone who keeps chooky's knows they are the most nosy creatures ....and will help garden quite readily at the drop of a beak :snorky:
The mile a minute is looking good as are the sweet peas- that's the great thing about gardens you can move things -remove things....or not replace things if you fancy a change ...another great way to, is I often gift to the charity shop or any fundraising event any plants surplus so everyone benefits :blue thumb:

Thanks BH, I'm wanting to start propagating things and growing a few things from seed, I was waiting for the peppers finishing of in the green house whenever that will be there very small atm,

Its my first year with the greenhouse in use, my thoughts was when I empty it this autumn replace it with things for spring/summer, ive put lights in it so I can attend to plants through the winter months.
