Best household cleaning products

Just out of curiosity, why are you off work? Are you off sick? Hope it's nothing bad if so.

 

I tendered my resignation at the beginning of July, and then took the whole month off to use up my annual leave (boss agreed, he called it 'garden leave'). I don't start my new job for another couple of weeks yet, so for the first time in my adult life, and probably the last time before I retire, I have the summer off

 

I wish I was that lucky! I'm off sick from work because I had some kind of a breakdown.

 

Happened to me once. Its good that you can say it. Too many people still think its a taboo. Its just like the flu or a broken finger. It can happen to anyone, any time, and you need time to mend.

Thanks everyone. I suffered from anxiety since I was 8 years old, was taking therapy for it and then felt ready to leave. Had a traumatic incident soon after and within the past month or so it's turned into Panic Disorder, so really struggle to leave the house without panicking right now. Can only go out on my bike at the moment because I hate being still for more than 5 minutes.

I really miss my job and all the people I knew there. I'm quite happy to tell people why I'm off sick, hiding it away from people only makes it worse for me I have found.

 

Baby steps Jane! Don't do anything your uncomfortable with, but each day do something to make you feel good. Doesn't matter what, something you enjoy or something you want to do at your own pace.

I suffer anxiety, I'm OCD, I had a major breakdown around 10 years ago and a another blip again this year. Straight to the quacks and I'm on happy pills again.....! I get down now and again, but I've got 2 lovely healthy boys and a fab wife, great friends and family around me and just knowing that brings a smile on my face!

It's amazing how common it is as well. Mrs al wanted me to try a councillor this time, so for her, I did. Wether it was him or the pills, or a combination of both, I feel my mad happy self most of the time now, but now and again I still get a bit down, no reason for it either, it's just that chemical imbalance in me heed!

Ah well, every day is a new day, every day is a good day, tell yourself that and you'll be reet as rain in no time!
