I use purple and dark green, my favourite colours, green for gardening related chat and purple for general chat.

T'other Half and I do too Philip. :heehee:

I can see two also ,one top right, one lower left. There is a restaurant herein rock formations and I have always seen a teddy bear (don't have the pic on my computer) and I always see things in clouds.

    Be safe this weekend.

You have enough problems with the flooding, you don't need this as well. Batten down the hatches and stay safe Glengarry.

Seems like its all over,..though its bitter cold,..we had 145 km winds with rain first then snow,..the only damaged done in the garden was a fence torn down by a falling branch,..flood water is still on the rise.

How sad about that house. But hopefully all can look toward the bright side in the coming days.

The weather here is looking pretty dry for the next week so perhaps you may be lucky too and see the water levels drop. :)

Sad indeed,..looking at the news from both the UK and here and seeing the damage even a foot of water entering a house can do you have to feel for the owners.

Weather has improved,..less rain but the flood water is still coming from up north to us and will do so for a spell longer.

In time the level will drop though comparing yesterdays level to today it was oops deeper,..luckily the Council build a flood wall in front of the houses below,..plus a big blue pump working day and night.

Hardly a breeze at all,..just the odd cloud to enhance the blue sky.

That's a good marker for when the level drops. :)

Lots of junk being washed ashore as the water runs through gardens and yards.

With water all around my location i did feel confined,..with over 70's in the plan to be confined that includes me,..i think i might get away with that,..the local Police Welfare Officer called today asking about the old man living on his own,..he lives in one of these houses he said,..i nearly burst out laughing as i realised the man he was asking about is 25 years younger than me he being 50 years old and aged faster than me,..i never told the Officer that :pathd:.
