The river level is still dropping and more land exposed daily,..though where the Swans are swimming should be meadow.

It will dry out pretty quick but the dried mud will be there on everything for a spell longer,..i will venture to the far side of the river after today,..my side of the river and the most interesting.

@Sheal ,..thanks Sheal,..that high water was restricting me to one side of the river for a very long time.

Headed off today on the walk alongside the Canal and down to the river,..i had to stop three times as i wasn't feeling very well,..chest pains and couldn't breath very well,..not the Virus i can say but it took me a spell to realise it wasn't connected,..no cough or fever,..took some 'Losec' tablets but it didn't really help,..drinking hot water did help for a hour or two,..so i can rest easy,..not the time to be visiting the Doctors Surgery as one could come out of there with more than one went in with.

                  Waiting for the walk.

Please look after yourself Philip, this is exactly what they are worried about, people NOT seeking medical help for other ailments. If you feel unwell today you mustn't hesitate in getting yourself checked out.

I agree with Upsy ... guess we are a couple of Mother Hens. Perhaps shorten your walks for a while ... or take two nearer to home. Please take care! :imphrt:

Hi Ladies,..thanks for the kind advise and you are right in saying i should get myself checked out,..come Monday i will ask for an appointment to see my Doctor,..24 hours later i should see her.

I have a fair idea of what is wrong,..though i do get it wrong from time to time,..about 11 years ago i had bad back pain and was tried out on various medications,..one such was 'Difene Tablet',..it did warn that damage could be caused to the tummy and that happened resulting in having to take 'Losec' MUPS to compensate the damage,..so i went off all other internal medication to this day just using a Gel to alleviate back pain and it works to perfection,..however the 'Losec' fails to work from time to time and all kinds of pain results in particular chest pains which are very painful,..always after eating,..conclusion the 'Losec' is either faulty or my system has got used to them and they don't work,..i must admit i am one of the worst patients and will Bull my way past injuries rather than seek a Doctor :stirpot:.

Taking it easy today seeing its raining,..feeling good enough to be hungry :thanks:

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling too well Philip and hope you feel better soon. It's wise to seek a doctors help. I have suffered from Gastritis for many years due to past medication damaging the lining of my stomach. The symptoms are similar to yours.
