          My they are ominous clouds!
          :hate-shocked:

Very ominous indeed,..looking up at them one knew there was thunder and lightning ready to let fly,..lots of rain again today.

The new slipway is for locals to launch their boats when going fishing,..nearly every angler here has a boat,..most take the boat home while others have to pay for berths,..mine was 1.000 euro per year but regular checking was a must,..taking the boat home is safer,..apart from fishing one can navigate through several lakes and 300 miles of river,..there are lots of uninhabited islands where one can pull in and stay in peace and quiet.

We had a boat in Alabama to put in the Tennessee River and we took it home. Thought about one here but you have to have a license (didn't in Alabama) but decided against it because if you leave the River Arade you are in the Atlantic suddenly in Portimao and then need an ocean going license,

@Victoria ,..here we just have to apply for a Navigation Number,..its just for the Waterways people to keep check on the boat as it passes through lock gates.

There would be a big change in boating on the River Arade to then suddenly enter the Atlantic,..another world of navigation though one gets drawn to it :)

Weather has improved,..less rain and its warmer,..though its only short walks between showers,..watching just how the new slipway is progressing.

Well, I guess it is better than torrential rain .... although some would be welcome here at the moment. Today is our last "high" day only going to 33c (has been 36c) going back to 27c but it will be nice and breezy.

What a lovely walk, Philip. A very pleasant change from the river, I love that picture following the wildfllowers, Such beautiful and colourful wildfkowers too. I enjoyed that walk, thank you.

That was a pleasant walk through the tree-lined path, and it's always nice to see the river ... and Foxy Molly  I hope you both had a nice rest.

The council here sometimes sows wild flowers along the roadsides and they can be quite colourful in the summer, they don't seem to have done it this year though.
