Big enough for outdoors?

    That courgette looks just so much healthier now it's in a pot!

    Have you got somewhere sheltered (so wind doesn't break the leaf stems) to start acclimatising them to outside conditions before planting out? Some sheets of newspaper placed over them at first will protect them against scorch during the sunniest times of day.

    If it's windy when you come to plant them out, you can quickly make a mini wind break with 3 sticks and a plastic bag with the bottom cut off that will save the heartbreak of having them broken up after all you hard work.

        Thanks, I've put 2 into big planters this afternoon, and left them outside overnight. They are sheltered on 2 sides by my house and my greenhouse so hopefully they will be ok. I'll see how they go for a week then put the rest out if these 2 do ok.

        I need space in my popup greenhouse for my next lot of seedlings (peppers and carrots) so could do with getting these out!
