Bird of Paradise plant in need of help!!

    Upsy, forgot to say I bought mine in 2007 this size ...

    It never bloomed. They need to be in the ground. John may see blooms next year. Agree, he should have bought the S regina not an S nicholai.

    Here is one in the ground next to a friend's place, I was taking the picyure frim the second floor ...

      Hi Vicky, I've just spoken with him again and he agreed that it could be red spider mite. His plant is over 5 foot tall and has a lot of leaves but only 4 seem to be showing varying degrees of disease.

      He said that he knows it won't bloom indoors but bought if for it's foliage. Stunning plant though....already Google propagation methods....you know how I can't resist a cutting!!;)
