    Only a sparrow !!!????

He's a beauty WOO! They are rapidly becoming an endangered species in some areas.

    Who'd have thought it....?

Thanks for such a lovely pic - what sort of lens have you used to take this - it is an interesting curvature on the image border.

Ta WOO :thumb: He's on the list!

    WOW - great photo WOO

Get those pink legs!!! Good to see a photo with the birds 'doing what they do' - you and Nutty are the stars of the actionbird pics! Wish I could have grabbed a photo of the starlings when I was at Mums - they were flying away with massive beak fulls of feathers for their nests that she had put out by sacrificing an old feather pillow - they flew away looking like little gandalf the wizards with big white moustaches and beards.

    Starlings are great.

    New bird table !!??

    Lets see a pic!

    :)

I like bird tables in the garden centres - especially the slate roofed ones - but some are a bit steep, cost-wise! I just dangle things on any available sticking out bits in the garden. However, my mum has a lot more success and far more birds with her bird table.

Expecting good photos from you WOO with this new addition to your lovely garden.

Nice pic of ? Mistle Thrush WOO - although it looks like he is in peril trapped in a massive raindrop  - no wonder he is jumping up and down!!

Also well done on getting the dove in flight - nice to see the wing and tail feathers splayed like that.

The amount of photos I have had to delete today off my camera today of birds taking off, just legs, brown blurs and vacant branches! This wildlife photography malarky takes a lot of patience, practice and LUCK!!!! Maybe we should have a competition thread for the funniest WORST bird pics we take!

Keep up the ace photos everyone :thumb:
