Some great picture on this thread :thumb:

I am enjoying watching the bird activity in our garden at the moment, all the pairs as well as the blackbirds gathering as much food in their beaks as they can for their young :D

Bluedun - that is an excellent pic of nature in the raw!

Female sparrowhawk on the list then!

Not sure I can add the other bird onto the list - identification proving tough!

    Well done!

I wondered when we would see that pic here. :thumb:

I went looking for the Hoopoe early this morning before going to work but saw nothing! It is somewhere on the reserve but not where I could see it.:(
The Spoonbill flew off as I arrived (I have that effect:D).

Well folks ... not long until we reach our first magic milestone of 100 different species photographed in this country - we are on 97 now - who will get the magic number and the accolade for the golden 100th photo!?!

    YAY!

100th bird prize goes to Glen for his Greater Spotted Woodpecker.

Well Done Glen and thanks to everyone who has contributed.

The next 100 will be more tricky methinks!

I totally agree - it is a first rate photo!

It is the first picture of a 'Little Brown Jobbie' that is anything but brown - it is beautiful!
