I want to echo Nutty here Strongy, it is good to see a dipper as I've not seen one in actuality either - although the Devon rivers are supposed to be a good place to see them.

Good to know that Chiff Chaffs are doing well in 'Birk' en' ed'! ( in my best Scouse accent :))
My brother lives just down the road in Eastham and works in Birkenhead :)

As I said, it never matters about the quality of the photos, so don't be shy anyone. It is great to see different birds and find out where they are doing well and to know that you have enjoyed seeing them. I'm sure we all have great bird reference books which show us pristine photos of every specimen bird - this survey is about the heart of enjoying birdwatching! :)

Thank you Nutty :luv: I've only got a cheap digital second hand camera from ebay but it has given me so many good memories of lovely days out recently. If I had my time again, I would have loved to try to become a wildlife photographer - just think... to be paid to do something that is your passion! Although, veterinary work is also my passion but sadly I can't do that for some time yet according to my M.E. consultant specialist doctor.... :(

WOO a lovely photo of gulls in flight!

It is nice to expand our survey with photos of birds in action and yours is a lovely shot.

Almost looks like you were up there flying with them.

Oh, silly me, of course you were!:D

I turned over a rotting oak bough today exposing the grubs that live in it. This robin appreciated the 'fast food' take-away.
