Young wood pigeon that was sitting around in the garden today. I think it was missing it's mum. It let me get within a few feet on several occasions.

Nice pics:gnthb:, I love watching Turnstones flicking over pebbles.

The Shoveller and Teal are handsome birds, I never seem to get close enough to get a good pic of Teal.

A cold walk around the Reserve today, very litte happening as most of the water was frozen, no snow here but frosty.
I managed to get acouple of pics of one of a few Bearded Tits. but not very clear in poor light and the little b*ggers wouldn't stay still for me:D.

Thanks Kathy and Woo, Radipole RSPB Reserve is in Weymouth, the Reserve and Visitor centre are almost in the town and with housing estates all around it, it is amazing what birds are found there Bitterns, Spoonbills, Marsh Harriers, Beardies, Hobby and now Otters have been seen! A mile away is Lodmoor RSPB, another reedbed reserve, so we have two here and Portland Bill (migratory landing/leaving point) and Arne at Poole harbour. We are quite well placed here for reserves.:)
