    OH YES PLEASE STRONGY!!!!

It is so nice to have all your GC bird photos collected in one place. It is a fun way of slowly trying to learn to recognise all the birds too!

Plus, what a source of wonderful photographers you all are.

I am in awe of the fantastic pics coming through on this and the other Brit wildlife survey threads.

    Thanks everyone! [IMG]

Well after a whole day on the moors and clicking away at hundreds of birds, the only ones that came out even half clear where these two on super zoom of what i think is a Nuthatch! He was playing around us for ages, and of course as soon as i had the camera finally ready he turned around >.<

But it is a Nuthatch! :D

And thats likely the best contribuation i'm going to make for the year that isn't a seagull.

Not a patch on the others shown here, but i just dont get out enough, and my camera isn't good enough.

    Still, yay.

    Nice one Ladies!

Whiley and Kandy - you did well to see a Nuthatch - I've only ever seen one once and by the time my stoopid brain had tried working out what a 'kingfisher' was doing up a tree, it had flown away and I had realized too late what it really was....

Good one girls, we've got a lot of keeping up with the fellas on this one to do!

PS: Kandy - great shot of the Black Headed Gull in his Wintery spot head look! Let's try and get one in its full spring/summer black hat on too.

Hi Cookie best I could do with the Black Headed Gull as this photo was taken in September so he was already on the change into winter plumage and I did well considering how far I was away from the sea at the time in the Lake District. [IMG]

The Kingfisher is my favourite bird by the way

Won't get much in my garden, but i've got an ever developing interest, so picked up some birdy yummys on the way home so going out to hang them now :D

Can see them clearly from my armchair where i spend most of my time [where my 'can't move' set up is] so hoping for some beauties.

Will obviously keep the camera nearby, but it won't be anything too far fetched.

I'd just be happy to have something more interesting than a sparrow in my garden.

Actually that being said, see the sparrows that play in my trees would be nice once in a while!
