    @Adam I so far I've avoided blight in my greenhouse at home, but at the allotment I got blight on the outdoor plants, first noticed about 3 weeks ago on Honeycomb (which has no blight resistance). Since then I've lost the other non-blight resistance varieties: Sungold and Gardener's Delight, both these were quickly wiped out. The variety showing best blight resistance is Toddler, closely followed by Merrygold, both of which show signs of blight but as of today are producing lots of edible fruit still. I have Nagina there which is looking sorry for itself, it still has fruit left but they mostly had blight signs. I only grew these few varieties there. When I get time I'll update the first post with these results.

    From what I see of your list (Latah, Galina etc) none of them are marketed as being blight resistant, could be wrong about that as I'm relying on my suspect memory. In 2022 (the last time I suffered blight in my greenhouse) the best variety to hold out against blight was Primabella (I didn't grow that at my allotment), so I would recommend you try that for starters, and maybe Toddler and Merrygold.

      Thanks! Yeah none of mine were, I hoped with how early they were supposed to be they could dodge the september blight explosion. Not so :sick0026:

      Thanks for the recommendations, saw merrygold for sale on thompson and morgon for 99p so ill get that with a few other bits.

      Know anything about Buffalosun? That is supposedly a big resistant tom

      there is also a few others in the merry gold and primabella groups (the first seems to be an OSSI project which is cool, online plant breeders!). if its the found resistant genes i guess theyd all be about the same.

        @Adam I

        I grew Buffalosun a couple of years ago, it had big misshapen fruit and was watery and bland for my taste. It was a very slow to ripen and didn't produce much.

        For a reliable blight resistant beefsteak I recommend Honey Moon

          I have never had blight in the greenhouse like I have had this year. With the very late season and poor cropping it has hardly been worth the time and effort.
