    Hi,

Nice one Scrungee. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I've noticed similar disabled parking a number of times the latest at The Range in Barnsley. I wonder if the disabled person has just obtained the parking badge and doesn't yet understand how to park? Is the big white van displaying a blue badge? No doubt other disabled drivers will advise.

    Kind regards, Colin.

Who knows? Perhaps the driver is a local self important dignatry and will soon contact the store. Dear Sirs. Regarding your Disable Parking area. May I respectfully request that the marked areas be increased so as to enable us drivers to park within the lines. Thank you.

At my local Sainsbury's if all four whhels are not inside the lines. You get an £80 ticket

About ten years ago I got a ticket in the local authority car park on the same basis. I went to court over it and showed a photo that proved that their parking spaces, only in that part of the car park, weren't wide enough for my car and that I had parked as best as possible. I had already sent that photo to the council and they had ignored it.

The magistrate ruled in my favour saying that the authority cannot enforce an impossible rule. He went on to say that he would not make any ruling on parking in that car park in the future unless the lines were repainted as per the accepted distances. I wasn't sure that he could actually do that but it wasn't relevant to me.

They had the lines repainted the following week.
