I don't need to buy polish for my car now as my husband has just reversed out of our driveway into a passing taxi. It could probably be a write-off! MEN!!!

I am sorry to hear that, jjordie. Some taxi drivers, when they are in a hurry, just zoom past anything...

 

No injuries to either driver I am glad to say but it was 100% husband's fault. I am now looking at replacing it with a new car and not just a 'newer' car and he is having to agree :D :D :D

 

I think he did it on purpose because you asked him to wax it :D or because secretly he wants a Subaru :eek:

 

Glad everyone, even if not everything, is ok, Jjordie..... Think BM could be right, on both counts!

I have to confess my dreadful secret - I have an "Anti-Subaru", just like you get anti-heroes...... I have a Liana...... shame, horror, didn't know real people actually drove them..... :rolleyes: After being praised on Top Gear as a decent cheap family saloon - a death knell to any street cred! :D

And maybe I don't WANT to be able to see my face!!

Haven't a clue! :D I could maybe try in the van too - it's a carryvan..... anyone notice a subtle connection here? :rolleyes:

We had to go for the same make as it drove Mr D dotty changing from our usual corsa and astra to the van, as he kept on washing the wndscreen to indicate to other drivers they could come forward...... not to mention indicating when he wanted to wipe the wndscreen.....

 

Hi BM. i'm pleased to say my landy has just passed it's MOT with flying colours. But Horror :eek: of horrors :eek: , hubby cleaned it out so as to look better. THANKFULLY HE DIDN'T TAKE IT OUT OF THE DRIVE BACKWARDS TO GO GET SOME WAX :D , THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GROUNDS FOR D.I.V.O.R.C.E.(Not because he hurt the landy,but because he was going to polish it, YUK! but he did open the back door then the drivers door and use the hose on full jet to clean the inside.... :D He did polish one of my landy's once and it took me week of off roading to get it back to what it should look like.

 

Cool, I use this one when in wales, its at my father in laws. Can't afford insurance on three cars !!!

 

Polished brakes anyone ?

No I have some nice new banana yellow ones to go in, and I am not kidding on the colour ! :D
