Yeah, OK, I think I've seen it.
Its the one with the stripey red leaves.
I dont think I would risk it as hardy untill I had at least a couple of plants on the go. [IMG]

You say you dug the maurelii up Daz, if it was growing in the ground you would have lost some root.
That could account for the new leaves being smaller.

Well, BM, as ever, I'm GREEEEEEEN with envy......

I have wrapped my musa and siki in extra warm thermal fleece after planting them out last summer. They should have survived ok as we have only had a couple of frosts this winter so far - but remember - February always has a cold snap - and of course, its tropical down here in comparison to "up north" - you know, above Winchester......!! [IMG]

My Trex lost about 3/4 of its leaves and is sprouting 2 lovely new ones as we speak!!!! The Calla Lillies have been growing steadily all winter and have thickened and spread, as well as going upward (very slowly), so the underground activity is going great guns.

With the storms last week (apparantly there was snow somewhere???!!!) the Olive got thrown over and my beautiful pot got smashed, so we are debating whether or not to plant it out. There are no problems about hardiness - it has survived 3 winters in a pot outside already.

On Friday(I think??) it was a beautiful sunny day and the greenhouse vent was fully open, so must have been about 70F in there.... didn't have time to run up there with me cuppa and glossy though.....

As for this springs' project...... 3 ex-bats and an Eglu....... maybe.......
