So nice not having to worry about a lawn Waco. the kids do laps around the various jungle features and you can hear where they are and know that they aren't rolling in mud.

Strongy I did take a photo but I limited how many I put up. It is on its 3rd leaf so progress is slow. We haven't really had the weather for it to be honest and it is in a shady part of the garden. Although my baby robusta is actually slower and only on its second leaf and that is in full sun ? Bearing in mind its only been in a couple of months I will forgive it a season of sulks :D

Looks a fair specimen BM, should start growing well in a couple of years, they do take a while to settle down. As I have said previously, all mine (unfortunately) are in pots so growth will always be restricted. Next year we hope to move and have a decent garden where all of them bar the Roebelenni can go in the ground and maybe create a jungle effect similar to yours.
I have bought a few odds and sods in advance Sophora, Colutea and might get a Catalpa or Paulownia going as well. I also have a few buds on the Albizias.
I might even get into bananas! :D

Wow Strong Go !!! Its very rewarding I promise you. I have palms in pots too and they grow nowhere near like their planted counterparts. The Paulownia and catalpa grow well together and are subtly different enough to make an interesting mass of foliage. I am going to be stocking up on more evergreen ground ferns to replace the ligularia and rheum which are losing favour at the moment. I hope you get flowers on your albiza they are really beautiful. talking of kids, next doors 9 year old came round here this afternoon (as he frequently does) he wandered into newly created jungle spot where he has been many times before, and remarked that he had never been invited into that part of the garden before - he was just gob smacked at planting and for a boy of his age it must have been like being let lose in the jungle!

    Thanks for the inspiration

They love the feeling of being amongst giants, running here and there with the occasional slap in the chops by a mistimed palm leaf.

This is very much before the onslaught of foliage, but still for a 2 year old pretty massive surroundings. I hope a seed for the future has been planted Waco in your young friend. :D

BM - I am sure that seed is already germinating, he is a difficult child, but never a problem working with me in the garden.

Your picture gives a great idea of the size plant to child ratio! It will be great when he is big enough to help you pack it all up for winter ;)
