    BM you certainly have raided the old piggy bank this year, that trachy is a big un.(am I looking at the right plant this time?)
    My waggie set seed last year, or so I thought, but they have not materialised, they've all shrivelled up.
    I wouldn't lop the top off the aloe because it might have a flower coming, just said it as the eventual leggyness is something to bear in mind, although I think long term they become a shrubby bush.
