    Apart from a few bits of BM intervention it's at a stage where it looks after itself 90% of the time [​IMG]

    Have you had a sneaky peaky at the crown yet ?

    not yet BM, Last years "leaves" still look ok, Ive done everything you said, wrapped up crown and leaves, and a watering every so often, I think ill have a look tomorrow, unwrap it and see whats going on.. [​IMG]

    Looks to have come through well BM.
    Your washy seems to be unscathed, mine are pretty awful at the moment

    Watch those black spots in the agave, they can destroy the whole plant, I find, if it gets really going as the weather warms up.

    Well done b/man everything looking good,my young washys look ok Pete they have been down to -6 but have been kept root dry in the p/tunnel.

    What beautiful plant specimens you have Banana!

    I really go for architectural plants and yours are excellent examples.

    I am very envious - and see that you are a tease as to where you are located in the country, so I don't even know if my climate would be compatible with the results you get!

    :( Well BM, I carefully peeled back the old leaves on the Ensete & guess what..... Nothing...!!! So have lost that, but haven't the faintest idea why. Kept in heated greenhouse over winter as still smallish, but it has rotted away.... I kept it on the dry side rather than wet.. :( It did so well last winter & year too... [​IMG] Oh well, will have to try again..!!! :rolleyes: [​IMG]

    Sorry to hear that Marley, I lost two in the bedroom when I first started and they rotted too. But lets face it your an old hand at banana seeds now so you can just grow another ;) [​IMG]

    He was flying into the glass, So i opened the door, took a pic, :rolleyes: and left so as not to distress him too much..
