Border shrub ideas... Please :)

    @RoisinMcGuire I went and ordered some more, but I'm out of pots, so they are going straight into the ground. How far apart did you plant them?

      Mines are all pretty close together. Probably most about 30cm apart, but have a couple closer together and further apart than that.

      As it's their first year - treating my border as a sort of in-ground nursery, and will move things and adjust next year!

      Thought I'd update you. The one picture had a root that went into a pot and I planted out last week, the other full picture all went straight into the ground. What a difference!!

        Aw well done! That's brilliant :spinning: so straight into ground wins! My foliage is a lot smaller than that, but some have started to flower despite being runt-y. Mines has been battered a bit by the winds, but will upload a picture tomorrow :biggrin:

        It's quickly becoming overrun by borage/starflower (no matter how many I tear out), I sowed seeds last year for the first time and didn't know 500 would return this year!
