What a great site, jj. I shall save that one fore later perusing. Perhaps it'll help me over my current inability to bake a decent loaf. [IMG]

I've read this thread with interest - we make all almost all our bread using flour from the UK which we import in bulk. (Our local bread is baked to a very hard crust and even our French neighbours don't buy it! They also have a bread machine...!) Thought people might like to have a shufti at our supplier's website - they'll deliver to your door. They're a private company and don't add soya flour or other "improvers" and produce over 20 types of flour. We've always found them to be wonderfully helpful, too. Their "Wessex Cobber" makes a granary-type loaf.
    The URL is: www.wessexmill.co.uk
If anyone's interested in knowing how we handle the bulk flour, I have a Word document I can email to anyone who sends me their email address.
    Happy eating!!!

eleagnus7 - I have just looked into this thread again, sorry that I am late in thanking you for saying how gorgeous my cats are. My avatar is my darling Gato, and my Kid Sis put the walking one up as a surprise present for me.

What I wanted to ask is this - I have a super recipe for mixed peel bread that I planned to put in the Recipe section but I have a problem with converting it from my bread maker mode to regular oven mode. Also, my bread maker (from Lidl) is a two-bread maker, can also be used for only one loaf. When I make this bread it is for only one of the tins, 500g size. Can anyone help me please?
