I think I shot myself in the foot with this one as the paddle got stuck in the last loaf

 

I just found a source here for refurbished breadmakers. I've ordered one the same style as those I have and another that apparently creates a 3 pound loaf. I'm curious about that larger one because it might come in handy when I'm making larger quantities of rolls/buns.

 

Well? How did it work out?

 

Just about to reply @CanadianLori! Made the granary no probs put it on a wholewheat setting. Also made a wholewheat on fast bake. All good too, got the hang of it I think

Yeah I am, absolutely love it! Made another 2 yesterday.. everyone's got bread bloat

Only the once, was a bit of a brick tasted nice though! If I make a sponge in the oven, I weigh the eggs and I think that was the problem plus it cooks for just over an hour..the bread machines recipe seemed off. Need to fiddle about with it I think

 

Mr Kandy has been having problems with his loaves not rising properly so decided on buying some new yeast even though the lot we had in the cupboard was ok and here is the result...

Ah thank you very much @"M" those recipes sound yummy! Apple and ginger cake is gonna have to be made asap and the honey and hazelnut.. or maybe coffee and pecan!!

 

Just noticed boozy cake, haven't seen a tin of Caffreys since I was a dwt!
