White smoke: Metalic zinc dust and elemental phosphorus, which attract moisture, therefore making white smoke.

I think the black smoke/white smoke ritual is excellent, kind of adds to the drama, I also think the new pope looks rather nice!!

I get white smoke all the time when I use my smoker grill for my rib eyes and other meats. Guess my meat is blessed.

There was somet on the news earlier saying that one of the new pope's first public statements as pope was to claim the Falkland Islands as Argentina's property. Nice one Mr pope, well done for keeping religion out of political decisions, or not.

 

I think it should be the other way round Clueless. I thought the 'church' wasn't supposed to be involved with politics.
