There's probably more chance of me voting tory than that ever happening. One has to have standards you know!

Hi Silu, dhe did get more votes than him and if it had been anywhere slse she would be president.

The Americans can't count right. They've got a weird way of doing politics.

After a few hours considering my post I had calmed down enough to be nice about it :heehee:

Do you know any fans? And yes, I do have a nasty habit of saying what I'm thinking. I did consider that post though and in the end I decided to show him the respect that was due to him.

I'm resigned about the whole thing. Can't influence it in any event; 'something' will happen which will be called a suucessful Brexit by some and a treachery by others and in the coming years we'll cope. Industry will change and the people will adapt, some will suffer terribly and others prosper (both rich and poor) but ultimately the UK will be OK despite the politicians. The people will make it work, they always have.

We're hoping he will visit Loch Ness and the mysterious beastie makes a long awaited appearance and snaffles Donald in the process. I monster gobbling up another would seem appropriate.

Wow - our plans are a little more modest - purchase a motor home and go where the heck we want. Brexit will make it more of a hassle to tour the continent...bummer.....

I did mention brexit - so this post is still on topic :snorky:

@clanless - total cost for a four bed (all with en suite) and pool is about the same as an estate based four bed with a postage stamp garden and no pool around here.

Our plans are to rent out this place and then use the cash released to travel. A friend of mine is going for equity release to fund his foreign travels. I've been struggling with the heat for the last couple of weeks - I'm not sure I could live somewhere where it is normally hot - but then we all make decisions which are best for ourselves.

Look at brexit - everyone voted based upon what was best for themselves - phew still on topic .

Heard, May is doing the opposite of what Trump told her to do. So she is doing it right I guess then.

Theresa May seems to have the knack of managing to do the opposite of what people want all by herself.

I think she might go down in history as an even worse PM than David Cameron.

P.S. Nobody's mentioned Jacob Rees Mog yet :sofa:
