The Brexit Party is ridiculous. ~It has one aim and then what? OK, job done, er.. Nige? how do we run the country?
Can't wait for some manifestos to come out before an election. Haven't had a good laugh for ages!

Theres no fixing this mess now. The people are split and will never agree a way forward , and the poltical system is damaged beyond repair

The Tories are split, Labour only care about the South East and their Northern voters have woken up to this, the Liberals arent worth a damn and their power mad leader has just said if you dont agree with her views your vote is worthless and it will be ignored. And Nigels left it too late.

I'm just wondering how "normal" it is for the courts to be meddling in politics.

Who really is supposed to be running the county, if the courts can overrule the government, and the result of a referendum.
Yeah, things are getting close to time to give up, roll over and play dead.

We aint moved on much since the days of cannon fodder in WW1, over the top lads, we're right behind you.

Very odd, almost unheard of for the courts to be involved and most definitely not the normal way of things.
It’s a sign of how dire things have become, sadly
The courts should remain unbiased, surely that is basic justice?
Unfortunately the current parliament has stooped ( or felt it was forced to ) stoop to these depths.
I find it all very sad :mute:

To be fair, what would the point have been standing at that podium to be shouted over the entire time? Do you not think it a bit odd that there was an anti-Brexit protest in Luxembourg, a country with a population that must be the same size a Birmingham at best. I wonder what reason the people of Luxembourg might have for wanting to stop Brexit, and stop the UK being one of the 9 countries propping up the failing project.....

Let`s be fair, the public voted for out. Boris suggested we have a general election, however, all those MP`s who are PRO EU said no. Why? Because they know their financial "perks" will stop.

You're right, Loki. It's not the fact of a Supreme Court going against a Prime Minister as whether actualiy they decide to query his motive rather than whether or not he is within his constitutional rights to prorogue Parliament for the amount of time that he has.
My personal opinion is that the PM is within his constitutional rights and that that is all the Supreme Courts can/should take into consideration and that his motives are irrelevant when it comes to being within the Constitution..............but that's only my opinion and, Boy!, I've been wrong so many times in Life:dunno::wallbanging::heehee: As I've pointed out previously we're in unprecendented territory in Politics, Legislation, and interpretation of the Law so it's a roll of the dice as to whether the Supreme Court decides to stick to whether they can only judge on whether the PM has acted within the Constitution or whether they believe that they can judge on whether or not his motives (of which there has to be hard evidence of in my opinion) place his actions outside of the Constitution.
I'm not a Betting Man but it's a case of place your money/bets and spin the Wheel.

Tomorrow will be groundbreaking in politics I feel.
I just do not think they will say the Queen was duped:scratch:
The law of the land surely cannot admit the Queen was scammed???
