Did you ever hear so much codswallop in all your life...

Mind you..Think on...IF JC became PM...No one need ever go to work again because everything is going to be free:hapfeet::th scifD36:..No tuition fees,no Nursery Fees,Free Prescriptions, free personal care for the elderly ('ere @shiney..you'll be alright:thumbsup:;):heehee:), Ohhh it's going to be free this free that:partytime:....

BUT.....he did omit to say just exactly where the money was coming from...bloody fool...:rolleyespink:

Annnnnnd as for Brexit...I don't doubt (if he actually could re open the negotiations with the EU) he could 'get it done' in 6 months..probably 6 days because he would give the EU everything they wanted..complete control back...I think they'd accept that don't you ?

Tell the kids its free and it wins a vote :( They don't think slightly longer term when all the money is gone and the taxes rise again... Should coincide nicely with them buying their first home and a tory government taking back control to correct the labour over spend

Oh, and the homeless are ALL going to be immediately housed. He's bloody Santa Claus!

It's nicer to spend other peoples money i.e: yours and mine, than it is your own, and Labour loves to spend other peoples money as we all know from last time.:dunno::heehee::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Can anyone explain, why if the Tories win and we leave the EU, will Trump take over the NHS??

Why, if we ever manage to leaving the EU, will America take over the NHS.

Its been said all along, but it baffles me.

It is propaganda @pete - it is because Trump/America is looking at business opportunities here to sell us drugs, medical equipment etc, and potentially even run clinics. Saying that the Tories or BXP are going to sell out the NHS makes a great sound bite that helps Labour etc look like they are the saviours of the NHS (and they know that we are all rightly protective of our NHS).

The bit they don't state is that Labour is the party that privatised chunks of the NHS with the likes of Virgin providing physio and neuro-rehab facilities, and the various contractors for cooking, cleaning, building maintenance and so on), AND they conveniently miss the fact that Labour tied many trusts into PFI contracts where they will pay tens or even hundreds of millions of pounds over the odds for hospitals, and included in those contracts were private companies running the car parks which is why everyone gets charged a bomb for parking there. I am also led to believe (not verified) that if we remain in the EU, we would have to privatise the NHS at some point as it does not fit with EU regs.

I sort of get where they are coming from, but I don't think it is entirely fair to Boris - he has only been PM for a matter of weeks, so their gripe about under-funding etc is not really his fault. In fact, he has already announced funding increases. His party is responsible as such, but then the Lib Dems were part of that when austerity started after the financial crash - hell, Jo Swinson herself voted for policies such as the bedroom tax and other damaging welfare reforms!

She seems to be worrying about China? and climate change and how our government isn't doing anything about it, she should go tell China that, they are more responsible than we are.

What the hell is she doing wandering around the street with a stethoscope around her neck and a rucksack? its a set up.

That's just a misrepresentation of what the problem could be. The worry is that the deal we already have for purchasing drugs (much cheaper than the normal price in the U.S.) from the U.S. may be nullified by leaving the EU. Then there is a possibility that they will impose higher prices. Whether they will, is up for debate. If they hike the prices to their retail price (highly unlikely) then it could add billions to our costs. Labour, and the rumour mongers, are using that as their base line. There has been no evidence one way or the other. :dunno:

And will apply to any new government taking us out of the EU. There's a lot of ifs whats and maybe's in the situation that the next government will have to navigate. Should Labour win then they want a referendum with leave and stay on the billing so they could easily be in the same situation (but they would immediately blame the tories. Never their fault...)

I want Boris to call Corbyn out - either to fight to the death or to ask him if he'll resign when he loses the election
