I "liked" Long-Bailey's comment of her wanting to "bring back Progressive Patriotism".
There's Middle Left, Left, Corbyn Left, and then even further there's Long-Bailey Left.......if she becomes Leader of the Labour Party then Labour is finished. If Starmer becomes Leader he'll have to watch his back.

 

I'm not convinced the next Labour leader will be around for the next election, think it's more about rinsing out the memory of Corbyn before moving back into mainstream politics. Herr Starmer might stick it out but none of them exactly inspire you

 

What they want is Superwoman!

 

For me Gender is not an issue or problem in any job as my experience during my working Life when hiring Staff is that Women are far more intelligent than men.
Having said that Maggie Thatcher is, for me, not a example of a good Leader and never will be. If Long-Bailey is voted in as the Leader of the Labour Party then it will be a continuation of the exteme Left that has brought the Labour Party to it's knees. She wrote all the extreme "every thing is free" policies put forward by Corbyn that was rejected by the voter and yet she is still convinced that "Progesssive Patriotism" is the way to go which, to me, is as far as you can go without coming out into the open by declaring the Labour Party to be Communist.
I think, to be honest, we're still in the flux of political change with huge economic and political decisions to be made on the Left and the Right so, for me, we've got a long way to go before the present scenario is over........
