I think WeeTam was simply referring to the outcomes of the votes which is a binary win / lose.

In terms of the general public, there will be no winners but we'll get over it. We always do which is something the politicians seem to have ignored or forgotten.

If we remain in the Customs Union we will still be paying huge sums to the EU:noidea:
If our politicians had held their nerve and presented a united front I think we would have secured a good deal:noidea:

Staying in the CU means we can't leverage deals outside of the EU so it effectively blocks a route to success.
MP's can't be united or hold a common front as their whips won't allow it! It's a ridiculous system utterly unsuited to modern politics and life.
I'm all for no deal and negotiating the deals moving forward with whoever wants to trade with us. The one thing I'm concerned about is shared 'intelligence', if the EU want to close doors on this then everybody suffers.

I'M STILL BLOODY LIVID...I can't believe THE PM has got JC involved...I don't know about kicking the can down the road this is turning into kicking the can down a sodding motorway...I can't imagine they are going to agree on anything between them..maybe I'm being too pessimistic !
I swear if there is another referendum / Peoples vote I shall flip my lid.

Best laugh of the day so far was reading reports of Cabinet ministers expressing their preferences for no deal/short extension to delay/long extension to delay. Then Juncker brought them back from LaLaland by stating categorically that there will be no SED, that if they want a LED it'll be until March 2020 and that he fully expects the UK to crash out with no deal. Never mind leaving the EU, these people appear to have mentally migrated to another planet

I've just heard on the news that parliament voted today on whether or not they should have more votes on what outcome they would like to see.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I think it was a dead heat, and old loud mouth had the final say.

Is this really how this so called parliament works?

Whatever the outcome of this fiasco, when things settle there must be a total reform on how the system works, or dont work, that is.

I've always thought it needed an overhaul and this just proves its out dated and cumbersome.

I wish they'd all stop arguing and get on with it. The EU isn't going to give us anything else. Our politicians haven't got a clue what to do next - apart from repeats of what's already been voted against and we, the citizens of Britain don't have any say. Britain can be strong again, so lets re-attach the 'Great', go for no deal and sort out the mess afterwards without the EU making life as difficult as possible, we'll survive!
