If the eu are so ready and convinced of us 'crashing out' why don't they simply force it? No extension, no new negotiations, just make love to off UK. draw this fiasco to a close!

Also, I don't think UK businesses can cope with the uncertainty for another year and you can forget any investment in Britain.

I don't think there's any other way forward now @KFF. The EU is just as frustrated about the lack of decision as we are. There's been so much time wasted when really the end result, no deal, was there on the table a long while ago, and it was inevitable that this would be the answer back then. Why if we, the citizens could see it, the politicians couldn't or wouldn't? Right now I'm ashamed to be British and so are many others.

The referendum was a binary vote whilst general elections usually have a minimum of three choices on a ballot paper.

To many of the to$$£rs are in it for the political gain as far as their careers are concerned, not the greater good of the country. Those that do care have differing thoughts on the issue amongst themselves. It is too divisive.
And the harsh fact is that leaving is never going to be a good deal for the country. Sorry.

          Here here!

That is in line with convention for once. In the event of a tied vote the speaker has the final vote and votes the motion down.

Yeah I know that, the point I was really making is that the idiots were voting as to whether they should have more voting going on.
I think old loud mouth stepped in and stopped it.

So remainer mp yvette cooper stood up in parliament a couple minutes ago and used the old project fear tactic again.
Our security is going to be put at risk apparently :roflol: Foods going to go up price, blah blah blah.

She probably hasnt noticed that foods been going up in price for years whilst package sizes have been shrunk. But shes on 75k a year, has her mortagage paid for her, expenses etc etc

Btw she claimed £152,000.00 in expenses in 2008 whilst earning £141,000.00 as a minister.

Yes, she's forcing legislation through to categorically stop a no deal. Don't think that the EU will care much but it will queer the pitch at home a bit more!

If they say we can't have another extension next week no amount of legislation will stop a no deal.... we'll be out

The British Public voiced their opinion. They were sick & tired of the EU running our lives. They voted LEAVE. Why are we still here???????????????????????/

I've listened to quite a few 'experts' this morning (not politicians) and each has said they now know exactly what is going to happen. :dbgrtmb: The trouble is that they all came up with a different scenario. :thud:

I don't care any more as I'm now prepared for anything. I've dug a very nice head shaped hole in the sand that I can use. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Getting to the bit now where politicians will repeat they respect the referendum result but alas they will be voting to stay in the EU

Hammond launching another split... so many fragmentations within government it's no real wonder TM has buggered off to consult with the other side! Had a giggle earlier when she reiterated that she had secured a 'good deal'. Keep banging the drum love.

Water leak probably burbling more sense than the politicians lol

But the most important decisions to be made for decades and they're put off for a water leak?!
