They all seem to be doing they're damnedest to continue the fiasco. I say that we'll leave in name only with the same ties to the EU disabling our ability to make external trade deals. TM will then leave and the new PM will be shafted to improve the situation. Utter genius.

Perhaps the next incumbent will be better connected to the wider public and not with their head stuck up their bottom. You can only dream lol

Johnny Mercer is playing a canny game though - staying out of the line of fire but building a support base and voting in a manner that both supports the leave decision and not upset the conservative camp. Probably won't be the next leader but very well might be the one after that

Allegedly up to end of the year but early termination if a deal is ratified.

Corbyn wants a 'Boris lock' aka legally binding agreement that the next PM can't undo whatever is finally put to the EU. I think the intent is that if Labour contribute to an agreement the Tories can't sneakily use that to get it over the line but then renege on it. It's a fair point, who'd trust a politician afterall?!

I know i'm pretty thick at times but I'm getting slightly confused over all this.

The EU are stating that the agreement, with May, is the only one on the table, but then say they will grant an extension if she can come up with something new?
Like what? Getting Corbyn to back the deal?

Parliament, and I believe it is now law, says we cannot leave without a deal?
But the EU might say, that's it your out, if they dont grant an extension?

I think they are all idiots, or perhaps its me .

Yeah we are all starting to crack, but not about Brexit, we're cracking over the way the idiots have gone about it.
Yes it looks a stupid idea now because they have derailed it with their egos and infighting.

There will be a second referendum. Know what? It is likely the result will be exactly the same. Then what? :noidea:

There are those that say a second referendum will settle it.
But only if they get the result they want,;) if not this stupidity will go on.:frown:

A vote in the House of Commons was passed on just one vote the other day, I believe, the one that said we could not leave with a no deal situation.

Are we allowed to dispute that one???????

                      Hi @pete ,

The " No deal " you mean is that the Government can't take us out with no deal.

If the EU Leaders can't decide tonight then we automatically leave on friday with no deal . I really hope they can't agree and so we're out in two days time.
