    Another interesting read and a it looks like a great place for walks, you were lucky to hear Cuckoos.:)

        thanks cookie when i went today there wasnt much wildlife there very unusual only 1 swan 4 canada geese and a few ducks.

        17 miles....eek! Gone are the days when I could step out like that. It must keep you both really fit.

        Great photo of the little grass snake. Snakey things aren't my favourite of beasties but I still appreciate their beauty... from a distance !!!!:D

        Lovely photos of very nice different habitats. I never knew Bedford had so much in it !

        We had poor weather this weekend - quite cool and windy and plenty of showers, also felt quite tired and a bit under the weather, so no trips to report from me today... chomping at the bit to get out there again.

        Kathy, thanks for sharing your photo outings with all of us. It's great to be to explore areas of the country that we would otherwise probably not see. A photo is worth a thousand words...
