Aren't they pretty. If they weren't vegetables they'd look great in the flower border. Are there any other such dramatically white and black flowers?

Don't cover your bees in enviromesh, they won't like that.

enviromesh over your broad beans? That will stop the insects pollinating them I reckon :( Only usual problem with bugs on Broad Beans is Blackfly late-ish on, and when they arrive just snapping off the tips (where the Blackfly congregate) should fix the problem.

Hi, I have dwarf beans in my greenhouse that are flowering but after the flowers die, no sign of beans ! This has been over a month now. Could it be they are not getting pollinated in the greenhouse ?

French beans? They are self polinating so should be OK, might be too hot in greenhouse now.

Runners or Broad Beans need insect pollination, so maybe insects aren't getting into the greenhouse (sufficiently)

Suggest growing Broad Beans outside. They don't need greenhouse protection; recommend sowing Aquadulce which is very cold tolerant, so you can sow that one early if you want to.

A shame my beans didn't grow. They will be grown outside now so fingers crossed.
