There has been some frost in Kent this morning, apparently, but none here on the coast - the sea keeps it away. I'm waiting for some to blacken my dahlias.................

-2 °C in the garden overnight and frost right up on the roofs this morning. It's always 2 or 3 degrees less on my plot so it wasn't a surprise to see it had got the last few tomatoes right up in the roof of the poly tunnel. It would have been nice to have been picking them into December, but luckily I cut nearly all the trusses off a few days ago. No more helichrysums, cosmos or rudbeckias for cutting now.
