Brugmansia from seed

    Hi

    South wales , in between Cardiff and Swansea

    I have also learnt the difference with Dactura { flowers are upright}and Brugmansia hang down

    my musa is easily over 12 years old .. and multi stemmed

    Japanese Fiber Banana / Musa Basjoo is hardy I believe. They have them in Kew but they might dig them up, not sure. I have seen them in Germany where they cover them in leaves when they die back and thats all.

      I can't remember which I grew @pete though sikkimensis seems plausible - I was probably being unreasonably optimistic
      @Adam I - just don't encourage me... I'll be trying that next!
      Alright @Spruce - close enough to me. Which one do you grow?

      Must sikkimensis only survived one winter with me, I'd say it's more tender than basjoo which grows best from divisions.

      I bought the one called 'ever red' or something like that recently I think it might be a form of sikki.
