THERE APPEARS TO BE TWO BRUGMANSIA THREADS YOUNG DAISY AND HELEN HAVE POSTED ON THE FIRST IN THE LAST FEW DAYS AND THEY ARE NOT SHOWING,WOULD SOME KIND MODERATOR PLEASE SORT THIS OUT. Thank you.

Walnut, this is not a new problem.

I thought you were aware of the problems since the 'changeover' that there were certain threads ... many important ones that have been 'locked' for the last six months hence many new threads .... second threads starting.

I, as well as Admin are aware of this and apparently we can do nothing about it.

The threads I know involved are ....

Brugmansia
Pal's Work Thread
Mystery Object
Algarvean Daze
An Algarvean Garden

All of the above (except my Garden) have been re-started) .... I can assure you WE ARE NOT AMUSED.

There are probably more but we don't know until we try to post.

Hopefully when this happens you will let us know and we will then know what threads are unavailable.

So how do we sort it? would it be worth starting a new Brugmansia thread? If you then locked the other two you could refer everyone to the new one. We'd still have the info. we need on the old threads but just the new one is active?

 

At least one of the two posting threads needs locking down until things are sorted,posts on the other thread (those posted there in the last couple of days) are not showing not on my computer ,yes LoL I am aware there have been problems on some threads.

 

Well, I have had a very interesting and informative morning playing around here .... and as a result I am pleased to advise that the original Brugmansia thread is now fully functional to the last page. :yho: It is now called Brugmansia 2.

I have transferred several relevant posts that walnut and Helen have made in this thread to the original thread and I think things should flow smoothly now. :gnthb:

I shall now see about 'unlocking' the other 'locked' threads and merge any new ones with them.

I wonder if I have a new career ahead of me ......

Now I have to figure out how to get my blinking cat's eyes smaller ....

 

Hi folks I promise you that Admin is trying to sort out the problems.
Moderators do not have access to 'tweak' anything to sort this particular hiccup,but we will,as always, pass on your most valued suggestions which may be implimented where appropriate.
